In July 2017, we hosted our 10th annual and largest ever Disable the Label! From July 11-14, 115 youth and adult allies from across the province gathered together to learn skills, share their local work, and build connections with each other. We reflected on the complexity of our individual identities and how that intersects with the provincial mental health system, the TNM network, our personal networks, and the global community.
We are youth from across Ontario that are advocating on behalf of our ourselves, our loved ones, our peers, our future generations for a mental health system in Ontario that meets our needs, that delivers us effective and compassionate treatment, where and when we need it.
We are calling on our government to step up and be our champion for children and youth mental health.
